Green and Grooving: Sanipac Brings a New Stage to The Block Party 2026

Springfield recycles with Sanipac, and this year they're reinvesting right in the middle of Main Street. New for 2026, the Sanipac Green Stage brings four acts and an afternoon-into-night of music to Springfield's The Block Party.

Green Stage Lineup: Saturday, September 12

4:00 PM — Fiddlin' Big Sue Band A long time favorite in the Eugene-Springfield area. Sue Hunnel is a legendary fiddler that generations have come to love. Anything from old-timey to swing, a good time is guaranteed for all.

5:30 PM — Root Down An Eugene-based band blending reggae, alternative rock, and hip-hop into a sunny, upbeat sound. Formed in 2007, they're a longtime staple of the local scene.

6:45 PM — Blessed Relief Jazz Henry Houston on guitar, with drums and bass playing swing, bebop, jazz-blues, and pop standards from the Great American Songbook, with a nod to Frank Zappa's jazzier side.

8:30 PM — The Boot Heel Dance Band Paying homage to the greats of yesteryear: Etta James, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and more. They bring the passion of 50s and 60s Rock and R&B to the streets.
