Springfield's The Block Party is proud to partner with another new Springfield institution, Springfield Drifters Baseball Club. Established in 2021, your Springfield Drifters are coached by Jeff Lyle and play in the West Coast League.

Like The Block Party, the Springfield Drifters are "committed to affordable family fun with many opportunities to get involved in our community", which is why we're especially excited that they are joining us a the Premium Children's Activity Sponsor.

Their critical support helps party organizers secure the many family friendly children’s activities that happen in the middle of the street each year, including an this year's 85’ Obstacle Course, 24' tall dry slide, inflatable axe throwing and a bounce castle for elementary aged children. If we are lucky, we may even see a sneak appearance from Rapid, the Drifters' mascot and all around good boy.

Your Springfield Drifters are a summer collegiate wood-bat baseball team playing in the West Coast League (WCL), Pacific Northwest’s premier summer baseball league. With the new stadium here at Hamlin Middle School, Drifters are committed to providing affordable family fun while investing in our community.
